Recovery Vibes Initiative

I was drawn to work with the gong because my teacher, Grand Gongmaster Don Conreaux, was instructed by Yogi Bhajan to bring the gong to Nevada in 1969 to work with the still suffering addict. When I discovered this my inspiration to work with the gong made perfect sense, based on my own lived experience and having first hand evidence of how sound healing has benefitted my own recovery over multiple years.

If you are a 12 Step Fellowship group based in the South of England, and are involved in conventions, unity days or speaker jams, I would be honoured to be of service in bringing the healing medicine of the gong to your event.

What is working in ceremony?

This work includes many aspects which as a whole create a unique ceremony for each creative process:

Setting the workspace, preparing tools & materials with sacred smudge;
Working mindfully - being fully present in the moment. without responding to distraction, either internal or external;
Setting the intention, honouring the materials gifted from the Tree & Animal Kingdoms, calling in my ancestors & spirit guides to help, with (non-religious) prayer;
Allowing silent space, not being in a rush or reacting to distractions;
Cultivating gratitude & humility for the honour of doing this work.
